About Connie
in general:
Hello! My name is Connie, and I am an 18-year-old female living in California. I have a remarkable affection for my cats and all other cats in any way, shape, or form. :) I was born in Michigan, U.S.A., and have lived in New York City also before coming here. I adore shopping, especially for handbags, and enjoy reading tabloid magazines and basking in pop culture. My favorite actor is Adrien Brody! I like his nose, regardless of what critics might say, and I was totally enchanted by him in The Pianist, although I am convinced he had a "stunt double" for those scenes where he played Chopin!
I also like running; it helps to relieve some stress. I compete in 5k/10k road races and my goal is to complete a marathon. Another one of my hobbies is piano and classical music. I try to broaden my piano repertoire and attend the orchestra and chamber music recitals whenever I can. I love the sonatas of Haydn, Mozart concertos, Bach fugues, and pretty much anything by Chopin, Liszt, or Rachmaninoff. I also find opera sort of relaxing, in a weird way!
I've been webdesigning for several years now, and it's an oddly satisfying activity, maintaining a collective! My first fanlisting, I believe, was either for Yoshi from Super Mario Brothers or for Chicks and Chickens under the Animals category.
